Telling events in the past, that is?

How are you today? i hope we are all fine, how are your feeling? is it good or not?

On this occasion, i want to share to you guys about English lessons that  i have learned about recount text material that has been given by my teacher. Before getting into the discussion, inwant to tell you what is meant by recount text. So recount text is a text that tells about a story, circumstances, activities, and so on that happened in the past.

Recount Text aims to provide information/entertain readers. Recount Text has 3 structures, orientation (explanation of the topic to make it easier for the reader to understand the text), event (the sequence of events that occur), and reorientation (conclusions regarding the topic discussed). Recount Text also has linguistic structures including using the simple past tense, past continuous tense, past perfect tense, and past perfect continuous tense, using temporal sequence, focusing on specific participants, using action verbs.

Recount Text has a social function, telling an experience or event that happened in the past with the aim of entertaining the reader, we can tell our experiences in the past through recount text.

During the lesson, my classmates and I worked on the questions and wrote down the answers in the book, which would later be corrected together. It's really nice guys!!
